Have you dealt with addiction?
I consider myself to be a functional addict. That’s to say that none of my addictions absolutely destroyed my life or made life unbearably hard for the people who are close to me. I’m fortunate enough to be in that situation as addiction has destroyed the lives of many and left people dead from overdoses and desperate decisions made to placate their addictions.
