Did you see the Barbie movie?
Life in plastic might not be so fantastic. The Barbie movie has hit the box office and it seems like it will do decently. This film is yet another battleground in the culture war and I for one couldn’t care less about it one way or the other. I was as boyish as one could be as a kid so I was more interested in match box cars and video games than my sisters’ Barbie dolls. This film isn’t going to get me to a theater so I won’t say it’s propaganda or something that is worthwhile. It’s just a film about dolls that little girls play with and being the first live action Barbie movie; It’s bound to be seen or at least pushed as notable. Those are just my thoughts. What about you?
