The holy scriptures of Christianity are called The Bible. The term comes from a koine greek term ta biblia which means the books. It was written over centuries by many people. The Bible consists of 66 books 39 of which make up the old testament which is essentially the Jewish Torah. The new testament starts with the 4 Gospels which cover the miraculous life of Jesus Christ. It also contains many writings and letter's from Christ's apostles that establish the Christian faith. I've become far less skeptical of the Bible recently as I've looked into the historicity of the Gospels. While a lot of the moral coding in the Bible is irrelevant to modern society; it's hard to have a bad life if you follow the teachings of The Bible. What do you think? Introducing the Daily Poll and its Archive
For over a year, I've been posting the Daily Poll on what is now the Rippaverse Member’s Forum. To make them more accessible, I'm now archiving them on my Substack. These daily polls are often brief, with occasional longer ones, offering a snapshot of my stream of consciousness.
