It’s conspiracy theory week here at Velvet Room Publishing! The next 7 Daily Polls, including this one will cover a different conspiracy theory. The one covered today will be the Paul is dead conspiracy. This theory posits that Paul McCartney of Beatles fame died in a car accident in 1966 and was replaced by a body double by MI5 with help from the other three band members. The proof that this happened exists supposedly in minute symbolism from their album covers. Abbey Road is the most famous and some backmasking that exists in some of their tracks. A section of Revolution 9 that says turn me on dead man is what is most popular. Personally I think it’s a good bit of fun but most likely false. If you know anything about the history of the Beatles then you’d know that Paul was the frontman of the band for a good bit of their recording time and got them into the studio to make music. Paul also recorded his best stuff as a Beatle after 1966 and not to mention his solo career has some bangers that I doubt a double could have been trained to do. That’s just me. What do you think?
